Hungarian Grand Prix
As I went to bed on Saturday night having watched the beginning of the film Priest with my brother I could not wait until the next day, as Lewis Hamilton was on pole position to win the Hungarian Grand Prix. Although it did not turn out as I could possibly imagine, overall through reflection I think the race is still on to win the championship whoever it maybe and that's good because I don't think anyone wants a one sided race.
In my mind it was a race Lewis could not win having slept on it, not out of being out driven from other drivers. No it was nature, a bad day at the office or like they say "you cannot win them all" kind of situations but throughout the race Lewis never gave in and if you mine that anyone could be a millionaire.
Mercedes got usurped by Ferrari at the race start and Lewis got pushed into 4th place but then he got pushed off the track and into the gravel, as a result he went down to 10th place. Throughout the race Lewis set about putting this right until Daniel Ricardo tried to over take him after the safety car came in and when doing so they clashed and Lewis was left limping badly. He went into the pits for bumper change and went down to 13th. Nico Rosberg at this point was to set to be one point ahead on points if he finished 2nd ahead of Lewis which is a catastrophe at that moment in time.
What occurred after was mind blowing. Daniel Riccardo then went chasing after Nico Rosberg to try get and into second place. Daniel chased Nico down and as a result another altercation occurred, whereby each drivers cars were badly damaged. Nico got a tire puncture from Daniel's left front wing, shredding Nico's left back tire into pieces, which left Daniel's car unbalanced and as result finished third not second, he gave the position to his team mate.
Nico was then left limping back to the pits and when he came back out he was 10th and during all that time Lewis re-climbed the leader board again. Lewis finished 6th place and Rosberg 8th place thus extending his lead by 4 four points going into the summer break and to hopefully go on to win the championship for the third time.
Overall even though Lewis did not win the race I loved every bit as I could not stay still and my hands could not stay still.

New True Detective
The latest episode was the easiest to watch apparently and I
could feel my heart pounding.
My History tip for this post
Did you know that there was a palace called Whitehall? It housed the English Royal family from 1530 until 1698, when it was burnt down by a fire. By 1691 it was bigger than Apostolic Palace (The Pope) and The Palace of Versailles (King of France) as it compiled of 1,500 rooms. It was complete mishmash of a palace, as they built to it over a long period of time and this made look a small town. (See image below for the layout.)
What happened after that is by far intriguing. Inigo Jones and other architectural designers set about redesigning the palace. There were a lot of proposals but as an example this is what Inigo Jones had in mind.
Royal titles, jewels, and power, what a concoction.
I know this post is late but I got carried away with my 21st birthday, I'm afraid what I got is a secret. :)
I have a good taste for true crime and grit. The second
season of True Detective has been nothing short of what I like. I did not
follow the first season so intensely like the second, although I still watched it.
My reason for that is when it comes to watching crime on the TV I prefer
Mafioso rather than serial killers. Why? You need a lot of thought to watch
serial killers as they psychotic for a their own reason and everyone is
different, unless it's copy cat killer. Whereas watching mobsters run there empire
is a little easier to watch, although they can be as complicated or more so and
it is true that True Detective is nothing short of simple but along with all
the characters, the scenery and environment it's something I just settled into
without difficultly at all.
